Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bonifacio Silviano started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Cañada's Isidoro Rioja got control of the ball when Bartolo Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cañada defense, Bartolo Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Rioja. The Cañada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Rioja should have stopped the shot. Rogelio Lertxun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Rioja having to make a save. Bartolo Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Cuartio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rogelio Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malligasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Lertxun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Rogelio Lertxun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isidoro Rioja. Rogelio Lertxun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Saverio Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cañada's Isidro Pirro got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute of the match, Rogelio Lertxun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Rioja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andres Illart in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Rioja, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rogelio Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Rioja having to interfere. Bartolo Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Cañada's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lertxun came free, but Isidoro Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Rios made a kick off. Bartolo Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Isidoro Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Rios in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Rios in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bartolo Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malligasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Malligasta booed when Cañada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Silviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Silviano in the 71st minute of the match. Rogelio Lertxun scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Rioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogelio Lertxun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Isidoro Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Malligasta's Bartolo Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Rios in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogelio Lertxun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Rioja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Bartolo Rios struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Isidoro Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malligasta. Rogelio Lertxun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Isidoro Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malligasta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
