Marcos Urtsin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesar Seguinus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 41 minute of play. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Gutxi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Muno in the 51st minute of play forced APOLO FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Millano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Alonzo Chuan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Boca Juniors's Marcos Urtsin. Marcos Urtsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Candido Venceslas's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for APOLO FC. In the 70th minute, Jonathan Gutxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Urtsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 76 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Pelayo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gervasio Millano, 3-4. Lisandro Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Millano having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Alonzo Chuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Urtsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Marcos Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Jonathan Gutxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lisandro Maties could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Gervasio Millano however easily saved by the left post.
