Vilelas's Guido Artaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Vilelas from getting a goal against them. Los Piratas Celestes's Gabriel Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Velasco in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Marino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Artaldo. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The goalkeeper, Gabriel Arias, was totally fooled by Vilelas's Miguel Velasco, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Los Piratas Celestes's Salvatore Briñas got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Velasco in the 79th minute of play forced Los Piratas Celestes's goalkeeper Gabriel Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Los Piratas Celestes's Gabriel Arias got control of the ball when Miguel Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
