When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Berdaitz made a kick off. Primitivo Berdaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Chesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Berdaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Chesus having to interfere. Por la Camiseta's Cecilio Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Berdaitz in the 63rd minute of play. When Primitivo Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the ATLETICO SARANDI F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Berdaitz couldn't finish the play.
