After 18 minutes of play, C.S. y A. Guillermo Brown's Rogelio Chaime made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Eleder was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Rogelio Chaime notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Godoy Cruz's Eugenio Eleder. Eugenio Eleder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Mauro Olayo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S. y A. Guillermo Brown's protests and gave Mauro Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Atilano Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Eleder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Chaime's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Ubendu in the 32nd minute of play forced Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Eugenio Eleder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Ubendu in the 38th minute of the match. Eugenio Eleder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Ubendu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Atilano Paz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S. y A. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Rufio was the one to do the kick off. If Rogelio Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Chaime came free, but Eugenio Eleder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Rogelio Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. y A. Guillermo Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, C.S. y A. Guillermo Brown's Eugenio Eleder threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 卓思荣, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Chaime in the 69th minute of play forced Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Eugenio Eleder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Brown's Hipolito Gabrio was substituted for Rogelio Chaime. If Fidel Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Santo Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Eleder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.S. y A. Guillermo Brown's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
