Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tatengue's Gaudencio Mino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Macario got free with Nereo Fernandez in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Fortun in the 21st minute of play. Gaudencio Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tomas Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Macario got free with Nereo Fernandez in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Mino in the 33rd minute of the match. Pinamar's Ernesto Macario got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Pinamar's Fidel Jago made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ernesto Macario made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Tatengue:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pinamar:s goal. The referee gave Pinamar a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florencio Benitez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tatengue's Nereo Fernandez. 2-1. In the 59th minute, Severiano Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fidel Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Ostadar charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Ostadar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Tatengue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. Tatengue's Nereo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Faron in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Ernesto Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pinamar booed when Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Ostadar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pinamar's Anier Faron got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 85 played minutes Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Mino. After a defensive mix-up in Tatengue's zone, Ernesto Macario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Fernandez came out of the goal and Ernesto Macario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Jago came free, but Nereo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Macario in the 94th minute of play forced Tatengue's goalkeeper Nereo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pinamar's Fidel Jago got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the match, Pinamar's goalkeeper Tomas Jax had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Fortun. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pinamar had played much better football throughout.
