Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Percy Ceresso got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leteque's zone, Percy Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Baraquiel came out of the goal and Percy Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Domingo Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Percy Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Teodoro Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leteque's Gustavo Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Ceresso in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Leteque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Clis to maneuver through the defense. Percy Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Baraquiel having to make a save. Calingasta's Domingo Opilano got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Justino Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Illart was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Calingasta booed when Leteque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Percy Ceresso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Baraquiel, 0-2. Domingo Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Calingasta's Marcelinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Illart in the 73rd minute of play. Leteque's Dalmacio Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Leteque's goalkeeper Gustavo Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Opilano. In the 87th minute, Percy Ceresso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee gave Calingasta a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geronimo Urtsin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leteque's Gustavo Baraquiel. 0-4. Gustavo Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Ceresso in the 96th minute of the match. Domingo Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Baraquiel having to interfere. The Leteque fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calingasta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
