If Matias Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CENTRAL's Cloyo Mondejar got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the CENTRAL defense, Domingo Chayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Salbatore. The CENTRAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Salbatore should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Matias Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cloyo Mondejar to make the kick off. Eusébio Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Eusébio Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Gabon in the 80th minute of play. Eusébio Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gabon in the 82nd minute of the match. Temperley's Eusébio Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cloyo Mondejar in the 83rd minute of play.
