Jeronimo Tonete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Alvarez having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Alvarez. TENSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Teo Franco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 26th playminute. Jeronimo Tonete scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jeronimo Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TENSE's Sixto Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Bermudo in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Castaño FC got a corner. TENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Naldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeronimo Tonete was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Javier Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Natalio Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. When Şensoy Ortun fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castaño FC's protests and gave Şensoy Ortun a yellow card for diving instead. Şensoy Ortun hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TENSE's Gogo Eli got a free kick in the 58th minute. Anselmo Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Bermudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Alvarez having to make a save. Castaño FC's Fulgencio Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Banegas in the 75th minute of play. Cecilio Colon took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Montay. Fulgencio Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Anselmo Bermudo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TENSE's Eustacio Guillelmo got a free kick in the 87th minute. The Castaño FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Castaño FC's Anselmo Bermudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Şensoy Ortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castaño FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
