In the 7th minute, Leonardo Gilen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CALAMAR's Melchor Azeari didn't even have to move. 14 minutes into the game, Fernan Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Melchor Azeari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Artemio Maju's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Odilon was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Fernan Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Melchor Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Mogel struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Amancio Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CALAMAR. Fernan Chabier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Azeari having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Cordarrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Melchor Azeari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

If Rigoberto Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fernan Chabier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Azeari was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute RODO were awarded a corner. Leonardo Gilen went to the cornerflag to take it. CALAMAR's Melchor Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Cordarrel in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Cordarrel in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Azeari saved CALAMAR from getting behind. Fermin Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. RODO's Paulino Ortle got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Amancio Odilon made a huge save. After 88 played minutes CALAMAR got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Tauro. RODO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
