Joaquin Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jeremias Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquin Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Polentzi in the 16th minute of the match. Cleto Lizbeth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Joaquin Sandaili took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jeremias Transito to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Simbol AFC's Israel Salbatore was substituted for Serafin Distiratsu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Atarrabi made a kick off. Cleto Lizbeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Haritz charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Haritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute Cleto Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Cleto Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Lizbeth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Transito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Simbol AFC were the better team. Simbol AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
