After having played for 9 minutes, Maximino Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narváez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Cosme Abancens took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leon Asur to make any attempt to save it. Guaberto Urtungo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Asur having to make a save. The supporters of La Resaca F.C booed when Narváez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Havier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Urtungo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. With a little luck, Narváez's Leon Asur got control of the ball when Guaberto Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Abancens in the 36th minute of the match. Celestino Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Gaueko was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes La Resaca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Abancens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Eudoxio during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Narváez's Alejo Eudoxio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Honorato Baumer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Honorato Baumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestino Havier in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Urtungo in the 86th minute of play forced Narváez's goalkeeper Leon Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Bautista during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Bautista hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Maximino Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Narváez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Gaueko couldn't finish the play. Leon Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Urtungo in the 95th minute of the match. The La Resaca F.C support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
