Spectators: 7132 (Terracing: 5350, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Regis got the match started through his kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Las Brotolas F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chorrillos FC:s goal. Las Brotolas F.C.:s Luciano Ixona showed great skill when he stopped Valdemar Mickelsson:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Sein in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Ixona saved Las Brotolas F.C. from getting behind. Segundo Sein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Brotolas F.C.'s Luciano Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Sein in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Brotolas F.C.'s goalkeeper Luciano Ixona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Las Brotolas F.C.'s Luciano Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Sein in the 16th minute of play. Luciano Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Segundo Sein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Segundo Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nereo Mercurio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chorrillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Mercurio couldn't finish the play. Luciano Ixona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Sein's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Benigno Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Chorrillos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Sein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iker Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Bras in the 58th minute of the match. Benigno Bras hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Las Brotolas F.C.'s zone, Nereo Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Ixona came out of the goal and Nereo Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luciano Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Sein in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Ixona saved Las Brotolas F.C. from getting behind. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillos FC's goalkeeper Iker Eutor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Luciano Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Ixona having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Las Brotolas F.C.'s goalkeeper Luciano Ixona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Sein. With his leg Luciano Ixona managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Chorrillos FC's Segundo Sein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Segundo Sein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Ixona. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Segundo Sein who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Luciano Ixona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Nereo Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chorrillos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
