Spectators: 2743 (Terracing: 1997, Seating: 746, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norbert Walczak started the match with the kick off. REAL MADRID's Baldomero Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Havier in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Tohias came free, but Baldomero Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Walczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes Eterno Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Adan Havier. Eterno Retorno's Lucio Miliano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Eterno Retorno from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Eterno Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Frichoso. REAL MADRID's Baldomero Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Hernandez in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes Eterno Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Espen Solem. Norbert Walczak had several of the Eterno Retorno's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Lucio Miliano as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Tohias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Tohias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Eterno Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Adrio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to REAL MADRID getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hermengildo Rafe hit a great ball. REAL MADRID made a substitution. Generoso Pacho replaced Norbert Walczak. In the 67th match minute, REAL MADRID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Rafe to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Dario Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, one of REAL MADRID:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for REAL MADRID. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Eterno Retorno. Adan Havier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Darien. 1-1. In the 90th minute, Zeledon Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Eterno Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. REAL MADRID were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
