Baldomero Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. REAL MADRID's Baldomero Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Valente in the 21st minute of play. Baldomero Darien came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maquina de Sangre AFC's Gregorio Eder. But to his dismay, Gregorio Eder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by REAL MADRID's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicasio Fernendo was slow to take the kick. During this time Maquina de Sangre AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nicasio Fernendo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REAL MADRID's Baldomero Darien did a great save. 32 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Valente came free, but Baldomero Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Valente in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Valente was the one to do the kick off. If Gregorio Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, REAL MADRID's Baldomero Darien got control of the ball when Jacinto Valente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Eder did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Baldomero Darien 68 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, Maquina de Sangre AFC's Jacinto Valente made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Darien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregorio Eder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Nestor Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Sadurni hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gregorio Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Baldomero Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Gregorio Eder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomero Darien. The goal made the score 0-8. After having played for 93 minutes, Generoso Pacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MADRID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
