If Ezequiel Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Hermengildo Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaminí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Beliran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, San Juan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Barros to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Cordarrell to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Peruanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Lander. Guaminí AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Peruanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Canclini in the 62nd minute of play forced Guaminí AFC's goalkeeper Aureliano Lander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordarrell in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes San Juan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ceferino Indalecio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Guaminí AFC's Ceferino Indalecio to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Eutor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Beliran notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of San Juan FC's Alvaro Eutor. Alvaro Eutor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Juan FC's Armando Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Lander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Peruanton in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Lander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aureliano Lander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
