Ricardo Bide took the corner. Gogo Mannie tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Baltasar Hernando. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Urtzi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Osvaldo Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Senon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Amado Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Lorenzo de Almagro had played much better football throughout.
