Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baldomero Paulin got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Antonio Artizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa La Perla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chusca the free kick. After 3 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Artizar. 5 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Rogelio Walme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Umea. 7 minutes into the match, Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Bide came free, but Teobaldo Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Umea got free with Rogelio Walme in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Benjamin Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match German Baraquiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teobaldo Gaizko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Honorato Acevedo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Baldomero Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chusca's zone, Gerardo Tomi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Gaizko came out of the goal and Gerardo Tomi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes of play, Villa La Perla's Abel Adrio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Gaizko was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gerardo Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Villa La Perla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Tomi couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Teobaldo Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abel Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Benjamin Umea notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villa La Perla's Rogelio Walme. Rogelio Walme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Baldomero Paulin might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Walme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Paulin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ricardo Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 64 in the game by Gerardo Tomi from a close distance when the talented Teobaldo Gaizko managed to make a qualified save. Chusca's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Chusca's zone, Abel Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Gaizko came out of the goal and Abel Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Tomi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Gaizko made a huge save. After 67 played minutes Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Errolan. In the 73rd minute, Villa La Perla's Ricardo Bide dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Chusca's Teobaldo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bide in the 76th minute of play. Romulo Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Walme having to interfere. Baldomero Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rogelio Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benjamin Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes, Chusca's Fernando Beliran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Walme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chusca reached it. Villa La Perla's Rogelio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Umea in the 85th minute of play. When Abel Adrio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa La Perla's protests and gave Abel Adrio a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Abel Adrio. Gerardo Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teobaldo Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Chusca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Tomi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 94th minute Benjamin Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa La Perla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
