Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5307, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) TRESAR Club's Juarês Britto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cesar Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Juarês Britto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Pudes having to make a save. In the 10th match minute, Varela AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lohitzun to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Arnoldo Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Pudes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juarês Britto's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varela AFC's zone, Alonzo Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Pudes came out of the goal and Alonzo Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Pudes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juarês Britto's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Godfredo Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Tancredo got free with Froilan George in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romulo Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Alonzo Sandalio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Varela AFC's Remigio Pudes. Remigio Pudes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnoldo Mambru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Varela AFC defense, Juarês Britto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Pudes. The Varela AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Pudes should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, TRESAR Club's goalkeeper Froilan George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Tancredo. Cesar Benet hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Varela AFC's Artemio Caitano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Arnoldo Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Lohitzun was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Godfredo Cambranes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 68 minutes of play, Varela AFC's Aquiles Tancredo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan George was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alonzo Sandalio struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Remigio Pudes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRESAR Club. 74 minutes into the game, Arsenio Oton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varela AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRESAR Club the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Varela AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Varela AFC. The goalkeeper, Remigio Pudes, was totally fooled by TRESAR Club's Cesar Benet, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Juarês Britto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigio Pudes came out and tried to block the shot, but Juarês Britto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 80th minute. Remigio Pudes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Juarês Britto rounded Varela AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. After a rather tough play, TRESAR Club's Esteban Venerando got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRESAR Club's goalkeeper Froilan George, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Isidoro Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TRESAR Club's Juarês Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Britto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigio Pudes came out and tried to block the shot, but Juarês Britto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded TRESAR Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Varela AFC.
