Angel Bernat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Atlántico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Tavio came free, but Angel Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Saverio Dolfo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Bernat. Tomas Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Angel Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Eufemio in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Atlántico FC booed when Fugazzetta Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Atilano Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Tavio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Bernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Tavio in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Bernat saved Atlántico FC from getting behind. After 44 minutes, Sebastian Tavio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fugazzetta Club and the Atlántico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 minutes of play, Fugazzetta Club's Sebastian Tavio made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Bernat was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Fugazzetta Club were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gilberto Romero's late challenge caught a Fugazzetta Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Romero helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlántico FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute, Albano Llin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angel Bernat, passed just outside the right post. Ulises Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Bernat having to interfere. If Albano Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ulises Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fugazzetta Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Quintan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Albano Llin took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Angel Bernat to make any attempt to save it. Saverio Dolfo scored 0-8 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Albano Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fugazzetta Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Ulises Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Angel Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fugazzetta Club's Gavino Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Jerrald in the 97th minute of play. If Ulises Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fugazzetta Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
