In the 13th minute, Maximo Hermon made a precise shot to the right of Angel Bernat. Atlántico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Maximo Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Bernat having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Arsenio Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Atlántico FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gervasio Rio hit a great ball. Arsenio Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Angel Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Arsenio Cuarto made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Atlántico FC's Angel Bernat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Arsenio Cuarto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Angel Bernat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Cuarto went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After having played for 48 minutes, Arsenio Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Rosario FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pastor Lorencio's late challenge caught a Atlántico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Lorencio helped the player get up and apologised. Angel Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Rosario FC's Fidel Patrido was substituted for Leandro Handi. Rosario FC's Witalis Milan was substituted for Maximo Hermon. In the 72nd minute, Arsenio Cuarto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Witalis Milan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Witalis Milan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Witalis Milan came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Rosario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Milan couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Enetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Bernat didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Arsenio Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angel Bernat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Rosario FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlántico FC.
