When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Aquilino Molina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Cutberto. In the 8th minute, Hector Eutropio made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Cutberto. CLUB MAYOL VARELA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 12 played minutes Sempay fc got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Jakobsson. CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Zacarias Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Eutropio in the 15th minute of play. Zacarias Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Eutropio in the 18th minute of play. If Hector Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th match minute, CLUB MAYOL VARELA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Aquilino Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Zacarias Cutberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes, Aquilino Molina made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Zacarias Cutberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Aquilino Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sempay fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Molina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Molina's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Hector Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zacarias Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Sempay fc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Eutropio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Carlos Bertin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Hector Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Arturo Patxi got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Molina in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Cutberto saved CLUB MAYOL VARELA from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, CLUB MAYOL VARELA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hector Eutropio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 83rd minute, Aquilino Molina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquilino Molina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zacarias Cutberto came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquilino Molina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Rosendo Pacifico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Ostots was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. With a little luck, CLUB MAYOL VARELA's Zacarias Cutberto got control of the ball when Hector Eutropio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hector Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CLUB MAYOL VARELA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sempay fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
