Maciej Franzik was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Rodolfo Gimenez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Gimenez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Orlando Eleazar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Maciej Franzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Maciej Franzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Gimenez in the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Gimenez made a kick off.
