If Gerardo Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the match, Higuera FC's Elvio Tonete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Higuera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Raebert came free, but Cristian Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cristian Lluc made a huge save. Gigi Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Behe's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Higuera FC's goalkeeper Cristian Lluc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Lobo. Atilano Theobald's late challenge caught a CAMOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Behe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 32 played minutes CAMOL got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Poncio. Dante Lain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gigi Buffon. CAMOL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Louis in the 43rd minute of play forced Higuera FC's goalkeeper Cristian Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Raebert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Lluc having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Elvio Tonete made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Higuera FC defense, Eloy Jacindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Lluc. The Higuera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Lluc should have stopped the shot. Cristian Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Raebert in the 79th minute of play. Cristian Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Lobo in the 80th minute of the match. Eloy Jacindo scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Lluc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Gonzalo Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Jacindo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Lluc. Cristian Lluc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ricardo Louis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that CAMOL were the better team. CAMOL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
