The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuri Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Betadur in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Jacinto Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Bide came free, but Valentin Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th play minute Horacio Bide came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valentin Eudoxio. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Ignis FC's Horacio Bide dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE's Valentin Eudoxio got control of the ball when Horacio Bide tried to sneak it across the goal line. INDEPENDIENTE's Valentin Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Sena in the 19th minute of play. Valentin Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Betadur in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Beti in the 26th minute of play forced Ignis FC's goalkeeper Liutauras Streikus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Valentin Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Betadur. A collision led to Ignis FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aquilino Eli hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lázaro Mergildo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of INDEPENDIENTE's Valentin Eudoxio. Valentin Eudoxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Liutauras Streikus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Horacio Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Eudoxio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Bide went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Horacio Bide lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Horacio Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Ignis FC's Lázaro Mergildo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Federico Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Betadur came free, but Valentin Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liutauras Streikus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ignis FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
