Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anastasio Dolcet started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Stroeder AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Angelino Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Severiano Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Lorenzo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Severiano Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroeder AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Stroeder AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Severiano Francis hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stroeder AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Fulgencio Pancho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Argentinos Juniors. Angelino Eliu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Jon. 1-0. Fabian Joanes came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stroeder AFC's Anastasio Dolcet. But to his dismay, Anastasio Dolcet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fabian Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Eliu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tiburcio Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, João Adolfo Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Gonza during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stroeder AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Adolfo Peixoto was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentinos Juniors's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Evangelista in the 76th minute of play forced Stroeder AFC's goalkeeper Mateo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Stroeder AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Eliu came free, but Mateo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Joanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Ekain in the 86th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Argentinos Juniors could leave the field as winners, despite Stroeder AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
