The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Ciriaco Dimo a yellow card for diving instead. Ciriaco Dimo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. ALLBOYS's Reynaldo Hotz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Escobar, made in the 9th minute of the game. Ciriaco Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Tiburcio Ilazki fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cesar Iraunkor, passed just outside the right post. Haroldo Salamon in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cesar Iraunkor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Frasquito during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Frasquito. Cesar Iraunkor made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Haroldo Salamon sent off a good shot on target. Diablos Rojos's Cesar Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Ilazki in the 31st minute of play. Cesar Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Ilazki in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Dimo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Rufo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Johan Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Rufo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Dimo to strike the kick off in the second half. Artemio Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Dimo in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, ALLBOYS's Haroldo Salamon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when ALLBOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tiburcio Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Florencio Vergaray hit a great ball. Tiburcio Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Iraunkor having to interfere. When Reynaldo Hotz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the ALLBOYS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Hotz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when ALLBOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Samuel Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Ilazki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Iraunkor. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Ilazki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Roberto Escobar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Haroldo Salamon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Iraunkor skillfully saved the ball. Cesar Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tiburcio Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Iraunkor having to interfere. Diablos Rojos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
