Nereo Eliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnoldo Dolfos took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Eliu. Nereo Eliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 30th minute, Freddy Maria made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Eliu. paternal pasion 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Arnoldo Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the El taco no FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Dolfos couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ubaldo Maria made a huge save. Ubaldo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Cordaryal to make the kick off. Gualterio Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Eliu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Eliu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Nereo Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in paternal pasion 's zone, Wilfredo Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Eliu came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacinto Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Torres was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes El taco no FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Torres. Ubaldo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gualterio Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot. El taco no FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Jakobe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Maria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Liberto went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. El taco no FC's Arnoldo Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind paternal pasion 's goalkeeper Nereo Eliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Eliu having to interfere. Nereo Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Dolfos in the 96th minute of play. El taco no FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
