In the 4th minute, Benedicto Benedicto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Baladi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Porvenir Talleres's Omar Bladi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Baladi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nestor Salvino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Leo Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Gartzen in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Hormiguero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Goren to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Benedicto came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Porvenir Talleres booed when Hormiguero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Gartzen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pastor Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Benedicto came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Baladi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Valente's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Goren in the 36th minute of play forced Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper Leo Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Hormiguero were awarded a corner. Ceferino Palben went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hormiguero's corner Ceferino Palben fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leo Inguma quite easily take care of the ball. Benedicto Benedicto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Benedicto was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hormiguero! When Manuel Liher came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Porvenir Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Liher couldn't finish the play. Manuel Liher scored 0-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Baladi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Benedicto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Porvenir Talleres getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dmytro Prytulyak hit a great ball. Carlos Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Benedicto Benedicto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hormiguero's Carlos Baladi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Hormiguero getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Enrique Blasco hit a great ball. Carlos Baladi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Liher went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Liher got free with Carlos Baladi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Baladi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Benedicto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Marcelino Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Porvenir Talleres's Hernan Pacorro was substituted for Manuel Liher. In the 89th minute, Marcelino Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porvenir Talleres's Rene Killigren was substituted for Behlül Berksu. Dmytro Prytulyak lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Hormiguero booed when Porvenir Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dmytro Prytulyak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Palben took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Inguma. Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 99th minute, Porvenir Talleres's Hernan Pacorro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Baladi. Carlos Baladi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Porvenir Talleres left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hormiguero.
