Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Puissoye's Isidro Mero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Hernando took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Baladi. Carlos Baladi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, Hormiguero's Enrique Blasco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Puissoye booed when Hormiguero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Puissoye's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Goren came free, but Gustavo Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Hernando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Baladi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Flavio Hernando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carlos Baladi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Mero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Baladi. That made the score 2-2 in the 27 minute of play. Gustavo Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Lauro in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lauro. In the 34th minute of the match Haroldo Baraquiel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Baladi skillfully saved the ball. Haroldo Baraquiel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gustavo Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Hormiguero's Enrique Blasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Gustavo Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Goren in the 41st minute of play. Gustavo Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Gartzen in the 42nd minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Puissoye got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Gaspard. Enrique Blasco scored 2-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Gartzen was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo Merexildo was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Blas Lauro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Lauro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Teobaldo Gaspard charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Gaspard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Puissoye's Teobaldo Gaspard got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Jesus Gartzen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Merexildo. Jesus Gartzen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Faustino Goren hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to Puissoye getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Teobaldo Gaspard hit a great ball. Enrique Blasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Hernando came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Teobaldo Gaspard put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Puissoye's Teobaldo Gaspard got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Andres Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hormiguero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Puissoye from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo got control of the ball when Faustino Goren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gartzen in the 93rd minute of play. Gustavo Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Faustino Goren sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Puissoye's goalkeeper Gustavo Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Flor. When the match was over Hormiguero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Puissoye throughout the match.
