Gustavo Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Porvenir Talleres's Pastor Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Puissoye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Merexildo should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes of play, Porvenir Talleres's Manuel Liher made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Romo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Manuel Liher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gustavo Merexildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 minutes of play, Porvenir Talleres's Nestor Salvino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Porvenir Talleres's Pastor Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Salvino in the 38th minute of play. Porvenir Talleres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Behlül Berksu in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Behlül Berksu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Merexildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Benedicto was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Porvenir Talleres's Benedicto Benedicto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Merexildo. That made the score 0-7 after 51 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Valente in the 56th minute of play forced Puissoye's goalkeeper Gustavo Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Pastor Valente notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo. Gustavo Merexildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Liher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Merexildo. That made the score 0-9 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th minute Dmytro Prytulyak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Valente in the 65th minute of play forced Puissoye's goalkeeper Gustavo Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puissoye's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Benedicto Benedicto scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Merexildo, making the score, 0-10. Gustavo Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Valente went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Pastor Valente notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo. Gustavo Merexildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Benedicto in the 81st minute of play. Gustavo Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porvenir Talleres made a substitution. Hernan Pacorro replaced Manuel Liher. Porvenir Talleres's Rene Killigren was substituted for Behlül Berksu. Porvenir Talleres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
