Victoriano Tonete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Dalmai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Tonete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hernan Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Islas's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Dalmai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Tonete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florentino Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Ignado came free, but Florentino Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Islas's goalkeeper Florentino Enol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Kiliz. A collision led to Islas getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mariano Sal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Conrado Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañaritas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Kiliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Enol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Conrado Kiliz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Enol. Conrado Kiliz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Chañaritas AFC booed when Islas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Tonete having to interfere. Svante Dalgren kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Victoriano Tonete came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Islas's Jacobo Cortez. But to his dismay, Jacobo Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Islas's Florentino Enol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Islas from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Florentino Enol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Matxin went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Kiliz came free, but Florentino Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes, Baldomero Rudolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas and the Chañaritas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Rudolfo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Florentino Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Victoro in the 86th minute of play. Chañaritas AFC had played much better football throughout.
