Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Lore took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leopoldo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Isusko having to interfere. Ernesto Isaio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Isaio during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Urritz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Ariando got free with Angel Urritz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banfield MG's goalkeeper Angel Urritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Evaristo Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Lucio Ariando could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Angel Urritz however easily saved by the left post. Evaristo Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Lore in the 32nd minute of play. Angel Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Urritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Ariando in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Banfield MG's Angel Urritz got control of the ball when Lucio Ariando tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Matias Roano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranchos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Roano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Matias Roano made the kick off in the second half. Banfield MG's Angel Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Roano in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Ranchos getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nestor Sazon hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Marciano Bautista managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 61st minute Norberto Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Roano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Roano in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Urritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ranchos's zone, Leopoldo Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Isusko came out of the goal and Leopoldo Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Norberto Lore fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ranchos's Lucio Ariando got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Matias Roano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Ariando in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Urritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leopoldo Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Matias Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Roano in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Urritz saved Banfield MG from getting behind. Ranchos's Evaristo Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Lore in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Ranchos got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Isaio. Angel Urritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Roano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Banfield MG walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
