Spectators: 6869 (Terracing: 5369, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) In the 2nd minute, Dante Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chimbas's Magnus Siöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Cortez in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Chimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rudolfo came free, but Magnus Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Islas got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Olando. With a little luck, Islas's Florentino Enol got control of the ball when Jacobo Txartiko tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Luisão Xavier took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Florentino Enol to make any attempt to save it. Ceferino Poz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Florentino Enol made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Chimbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Cidro to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Cortez in the 31st minute of the match. Florentino Enol came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chimbas's Luisão Xavier. But to his dismay, Luisão Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jacobo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Dante Vidal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florentino Enol. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Dalmai was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Chimbas got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Txartiko. Konstantin Popov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Florentino Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Vidal in the 56th minute of the match. Jacobo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Luisão Xavier notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Islas's Florentino Enol. Florentino Enol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florentino Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chimbas's Gabriel Sendoa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Olando in the 71 minute of the game. Armando Lia's late challenge caught a Chimbas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Lia helped the player get up and apologised. Florentino Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Xavier in the 73rd minute of play. Eduardo Olando made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacobo Cortez. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chimbas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Islas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
