In the 8th play minute Ignacio Primeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Saturnino Roland. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Maximiliano Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorroaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Montrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Etxepare's late challenge caught a Chorroaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Etxepare helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes gimnasia de la plata got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Etxepare. Ignacio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Roland having to interfere. A collision led to gimnasia de la plata getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Orlando Etxepare hit a great ball. Chorroaria FC's Ignacio Primeiro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nicasio Abastas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Tabby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Abastas ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Osoitz in the 28th minute of play. Benigno Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on gimnasia de la plata's corner Ruperto Matia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benigno Tabby quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute, Chorroaria FC's Maximiliano Montrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Ignacio Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Primeiro to make the kick off. Ignacio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Roland having to interfere. Maximiliano Montrell scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Roland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute Maximiliano Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Maximiliano Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Matia took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Tabby. Benigno Tabby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorroaria FC's goalkeeper Benigno Tabby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, gimnasia de la plata's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Cordaro came free, but Saturnino Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Fulgencio Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nicasio Abastas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Benigno Tabby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gimnasia de la plata. Maximiliano Montrell took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Roland. Saturnino Roland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 96th minute, Ignacio Primeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. gimnasia de la plata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
