Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Espigas's Matias Fonda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Espigas's Matias Fonda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Bilbo. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Prudencio Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Matias Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espigas's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Fonda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Napoleon Tyszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Bonifaco in the 26th minute of play. Matias Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Matias Fonda sped through Rosario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristobal Bilbo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Fonda in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Bilbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Artemio Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espigas's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Argider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matias Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Espigas's Matias Fonda in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Matias Fonda in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Canor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rosario's Aurelio Eutropio got a free kick in the 51st minute. 61 minutes into the match, Matias Fonda notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Rosario's Cristobal Bilbo. Cristobal Bilbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Espigas fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Espigas's Matias Fonda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Matias Fonda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Bilbo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Edgard Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Tyszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Matias Fonda put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Bilbo. Espigas's Fabio Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Matias Fonda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Espigas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Fonda couldn't finish the play. Matias Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espigas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
