Leo Todor came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by El Maguito's Cristo Maxin. But to his dismay, Cristo Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edgard Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Berriotxoa in the 22nd minute of play forced El Maguito's goalkeeper Edgard Orti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potrerito's Alonzo Senin pulled a muscle in his leg after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Maxin got free with Leo Todor in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, El Maguito's Cristo Maxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Todor. Leo Todor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Esteban Pueblo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Leo Todor made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rony Leme was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Leo Todor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Maguito fully deserved thier win.
