An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Perrando in the 4th minute of play forced Cienaguillas AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Maloyas AFC's Nicanor Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Maloyas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cienaguillas AFC:s goal. Pascual Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Galsino in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Cienaguillas AFC booed when Maloyas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Galsino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nicanor Blasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ruben Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maloyas AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Natalio Galsino scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Salomone, making the score, 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Faustino Urdaspal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascual Salomone, 3-0. If Nicanor Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Blasi in the 46th minute of play forced Cienaguillas AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Eutor in the 47th minute of play. Pascual Salomone made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Andres Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Galsino was the one to do the kick off. Pascual Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Eutor in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Maloyas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Blasi. 61 minutes into the match, Natalio Galsino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Salomone. Maloyas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Galsino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nicanor Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justo Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Justo Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Maloyas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Eutor came free, but Pascual Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Jose Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 83 in the game by David Bautista from a close distance when the talented Ruben Faro managed to make a qualified save. Cienaguillas AFC's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Cienaguillas AFC defense, David Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Faro. The Cienaguillas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Faro should have stopped the shot. Faustino Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. David Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Faro having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Abelardo Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If David Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cienaguillas AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
