The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Manzano's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Santio came free, but Evaristo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Beturian took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Seguinus. Evaristo Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Gaston Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Manzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Celipe couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Lazzarino FC's goalkeeper Marcos Baldovino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Celipe. 28 minutes into the game, Lazzarino FC's Roque Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Seguinus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gaston Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcos Baldovino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Beturian during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manzano booed when Lazzarino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Lazzarino FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Hermon made a kick off. With a little luck, Manzano's Evaristo Seguinus got control of the ball when Santos Santio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 51st minute, Santos Santio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 57th minute, Donato Hermon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evaristo Seguinus. The goal made the score 0-6. Lazzarino FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
