Quilmes de Almagro's Cirilo Gonzo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Sixto Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giosu in the 9th minute of play. Los De Franco's Giosu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of C.A. Quilmes de Almagro booed when Los De Franco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Bruno Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los De Franco and the C.A. Quilmes de Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Americo Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los De Franco's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Jerrold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Gonzo in the 34th minute. In the 48th minute, Giosu made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Oriche. C.A. Quilmes de Almagro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giosu to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play C.A. Quilmes de Almagro's Cirilo Gonzo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to C.A. Quilmes de Almagro getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cirilo Gonzo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Americo Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los De Franco's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Oriche having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Los De Franco's Giosu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Americo Rami took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Oriche. Sixto Oriche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Americo Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, C.A. Quilmes de Almagro's Everardo Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Jerrold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Camilo Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Rami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Oriche having to make a save. If Giosu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 played minutes Giosu rounded C.A. Quilmes de Almagro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Giosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sixto Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Montxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sixto Oriche made a huge save. Sixto Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Rami in the 91st minute of play. Hugo Rocio's late challenge caught a Los De Franco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Rocio helped the player get up and apologised. The C.A. Quilmes de Almagro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los De Franco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
