In the 2nd minute, one of Rosario De Central:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosario De Central. Hector Marz's late challenge caught a Rosario De Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Marz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bob Marley Team's Hector Marz got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Isaac Manilan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeronimo Abarca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bob Marley Team's Santo Caetano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Apolo Cortez in the 20 minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Tomás George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Narcis Drumeș sped through Rosario De Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Otoniel. Narcis Drumeș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Otoniel having to interfere. The supporters of Rosario De Central booed when Bob Marley Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Bob Marley Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute, Bob Marley Team's Angelino Muc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael Otoniel. Ismael Otoniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Angelino Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Otoniel having to interfere. Isaac Manilan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Rosario De Central's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonides Macias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Narcis Drumeș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was a well-played corner which Narcis Drumeș managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Bob Marley Team booed when Rosario De Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Muc in the 84th minute of play. Bob Marley Team's Narcis Drumeș got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Cordareo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Narcis Drumeș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Otoniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Bob Marley Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
