Sorento AFC's Francisco Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Drumeș in the 13th minute of play. When Angelino Muc came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bob Marley Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Muc couldn't finish the play. Bob Marley Team's Jeronimo Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bob Marley Team from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Anastasio Oliverios rounded Bob Marley Team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 27th minute of the match, Anastasio Oliverios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeronimo Abarca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Anastasio Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Oliverios in the 33rd minute of play. Jeronimo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Balaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob Marley Team's Jeronimo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Balaban in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Anastasio Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Oliverios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Abarca was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. A collision led to Bob Marley Team getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Narcis Drumeș hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Jeronimo Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Muc's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Alejo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
