The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Adrio got free with Ruperto Ekialde in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pituil! 7 minutes into the match, Rional Mustafa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruperto Ekialde. Pituil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rional Mustafa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pituil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Rional Mustafa scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Ekialde, making the score, 2-0. Ceferino Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ruperto Ekialde was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Rional Mustafa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rional Mustafa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 26 minutes in the game, Everardo Adrio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruperto Ekialde having to interfere. Everardo Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ruperto Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Azubeli in the 33rd minute of play. Victor Azubeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Rios having to interfere. Sixto Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute Sixto Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pituil's Ruperto Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rional Mustafa in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Saladillo FC booed when Pituil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saladillo FC's Ceferino Rios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them.
