In the 15th minute, Fabricio Calvet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlas La OTRA Pasion's Ildefonso Gagriel didn't even have to move. Manchester United's Epifanio Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Esdras in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Gagriel saved Atlas La OTRA Pasion from getting behind. Epifanio Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ildefonso Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Mingo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlas La OTRA Pasion's zone, Cosme Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Gagriel came out of the goal and Cosme Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ildefonso Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Epifanio Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlas La OTRA Pasion's goalkeeper Ildefonso Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Mikelar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
