Ivan Oskarbi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo Asur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teodoro Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Neto having to interfere. With 15 minutes on the clock, Cipriano Isauro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of Ostendi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 22 minutes into the match, La Plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Txaran came free, but Danilo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. La Plata FC's Danilo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Txaran in the 26th minute of play. Segundo Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Neto having to interfere. Arturo Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Danilo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Arturo Quinten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Uriel Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Azubeli hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ivan Oskarbi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Janpier in the 55th minute of play forced Ostendi's goalkeeper Leopoldo Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leopoldo Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arturo Quinten came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ostendi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Quinten couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Uriel Michael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Neto. The goal made the score 1-1. Leopoldo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Bernardino Fagildo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Plata FC's protests and gave Bernardino Fagildo a yellow card for diving instead. Eulalio Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Asur having to interfere. A collision led to La Plata FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eulalio Janpier hit a great ball. Danilo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Txaran in the 88th minute of the match. Arturo Quinten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes in the game, Segundo Txaran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danilo Neto having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ostendi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
