The tension between the Defensores F.C. and the FC Oestrich players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Defensores F.C.'s Gaspar Ascencio got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Defensores F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicanor Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Baumar. Bartolo Oliverios's late challenge caught a FC Oestrich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored FC Oestrich's protests and gave Baldomiro Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Defensores F.C. booed when FC Oestrich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Oestrich's Rafael Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Belasko in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Defensores F.C.'s Silverio Distiratsu got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Hurko in the 41st minute of play forced FC Oestrich's goalkeeper Rafael Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Defensores F.C.'s Emilio Lauren to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Vincente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Hurko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Vincente made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Flavio Hurko sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Belasko might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Vincente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafin Belasko ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Lobo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. During the 68th minute of the match Baldomiro Abeijon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baldomiro Abeijon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Defensores F.C.'s Flavio Hurko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Vincente. Rafael Vincente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 74 minutes into the game, Serafin Belasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rafael Vincente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Nicanor Chus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Lobo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Pastor Sendoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Oestrich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores F.C. the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of FC Oestrich:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores F.C.:s goal. Flavio Hurko struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rafael Vincente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores F.C.. Flavio Hurko took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Vincente. Rafael Vincente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Defensores F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Oestrich.
