After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes's zone, Antonello Filice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Goi came out of the goal and Antonello Filice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petrucho Fc's Aaron Conrao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Petrucho Fc from getting a goal against them. Antonello Filice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Efrain Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Goi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Maurino in the 28th minute of the match. Alejo Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Goi having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Petrucho Fc's Alejo Rubio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Goi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Petrucho Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Bernebe came free, but Aaron Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Goi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Filice in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Mercedes's Tadeo Lizardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Conrao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reynaldo Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Petrucho Fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
