The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Bernebe was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Teodoro Telmo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Efrain Goi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tadeo Lizardi hit a great ball. In the 66th play minute Blas Gaizkine came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Efrain Goi. 1-2. When Azul y Oro Cris's Blas Gaizkine in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercedes's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Gaizkine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Bernebe in the 79th minute of play forced Azul y Oro Cris's goalkeeper Enrique Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
