The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Rincon FC's Adan Boniel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Rincon FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Burutzagi. In the 7th minute of the match Micael Merino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Goito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gualter de Azevedo succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gualter de Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Goito. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gualter de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. OLIMPO's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Telo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Telo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, Froilan Burutzagi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rincon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLIMPO the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rincon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ruben Goito, was totally fooled by OLIMPO's Gualter de Azevedo, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ruben Goito was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Gualter de Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualter de Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The supporters of OLIMPO booed when Rincon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gualter de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. If Edgardo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Furman lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of Rincon FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rincon FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter de Azevedo in the 66th minute of play forced Rincon FC's goalkeeper Ruben Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edgardo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gualter de Azevedo sped through Rincon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Goito. Edgardo Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Goito having to make a save. Ruben Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter de Azevedo in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute Gualter de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, OLIMPO's Gualter de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Goito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Ruben Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OLIMPO fully deserved thier win.
