In the 11th match minute, Libertadores de America was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Gau to maneuver through the defense. Albino Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Lago having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Artemio Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores de America's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Dacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vera FC's José Paulo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Ordono in the 22nd minute of play. José Paulo Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Ordono went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Higinio Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Vera FC's Justo Santo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. If Tomas Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Paulo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Libertadores de America defense, Tomas Ferman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Bartoleme. The Libertadores de America fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Bartoleme should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justo Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. Artemio Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but José Paulo Lago made a huge save. Vera FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Luís Campidelis in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd match minute, Vera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Santo to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Bartoleme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Ferman went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Justo Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Bartoleme. When Albino Ordono fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Libertadores de America's protests and gave Albino Ordono a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vera FC booed when Libertadores de America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Paulo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Vera FC's goalkeeper José Paulo Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Dacio. Justo Santo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Bartoleme. Marcial Bartoleme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Albino Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. José Paulo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
